No automation
No bots, macros or scripts that play for you. The game is a contest of time and attention; whoever automates is not competing, they are removing the competition.
If it happens: 30-day suspension the first time, permanent the second.
Rules
Few, and every one with its reason written down. They apply to the game, the forum and the Discord.
Multiple accounts, within limits
Having more than one account is allowed. Using them at the same time to gain an advantage — in combat, in a house auction or in an event with prizes — is not.
If it happens: What was gained is voided, plus a 7-day suspension.
No harassment
Targeted insults, stalking, threats or any content that attacks someone for who they are. Disagreeing is normal; hostility is not.
If it happens: From muting to a permanent ban, depending on how serious it is.
No exploiting bugs
Found a way to duplicate items, walk through walls or get around a rule? Report it. Using it quietly and repeatedly is what separates a report from fraud.
If it happens: What was gained is reversed, plus a suspension. Whoever reports first is rewarded.
No real-money trading
Accounts, characters and items are not sold for money outside the game. Almost every stolen-account story starts with a sale like that.
If it happens: The account involved is blocked, with no refund.
A respectful name
Character and guild names cannot offend, imitate the team or impersonate another player.
If it happens: Forced rename. Doing it again leads to a suspension.
How to appeal
Every penalty can be contested through a ticket in the Account category. We review it with the record of what happened, and we do get it wrong sometimes — when we do, we undo it.
